PostSubject: Don't Worry, Be Happy   Tue May 31, 2011 4:03 pm

I battle depression sometimes to the extreme, I do take medication for it, but that's not what this threads about...
i was workin today and heard this song... it reminded me of my youngest daughter... she's due with her first child in October, and i read her FB page last night, where she was talking about the baby's head poking against her belly...
when this song played today, all the memories i have of my 2 grandbabies, plus my kids, and the future baby swarmed
over me... it reminded me that no matter what tomorrow has in store, today is a good day... here is what made me happy today... what makes you happy?

Uncle Kracker - Smile

Lots of things so make me happy...anything from hugging my dogs, to watching a bird take a crazy little bath in the birdbath, to hug from a friend.

I also have depression...diagnosis over 20 years ago. But even on down days, I am able to trust that this, too, will pass, and to look for the good. Think God is always putting blessings and gifts all around us.

Am grateful for that!

Sending a hug, Alfee!!

Love this song- I feel dizzy in my head when I get truly happy in sobriety.
What makes me happy? ...
Thinking about the love and support shown by people online and offline
The chance to work with others still suffering in and out of the rooms
When I can go to a meeting and tell others it does get better and know I believe that
because it has gotten better!
Thanks for sharing Alfee!!
